Auto Pilot
« on: April 11, 2018, 10:39:23 PM »
Not sure if this is a bug or what but auto pilot isn't working for a lot of people since the update. Ch200 is full of complaints about auto pilot not working anymore and I'm having problems with it as well. When auto pilot is engaged, it now lasts a few seconds and I'm unable to engage prior to blacking out when pilot wounded. What changed? Why? If this is a bug, please fix it, if it it's an intentional change, please fix it.

Problems with autopilot since patch. activating auto angle doesn't work and light on dash just flashes. activating auto level seems to only work when near 0 degrees. problem seems to happen when not perfectly level or having any pressure on pitch. stick has to be in neutral position for auto angle and sometimes auto level to work. before i could be pulling up to desired angle and activate with no problem.

I have the same problem with auto pilot. Keys are mapped to joy stick to auto climb and to level out. neither key work.

Can’t do auto pilot eighter.  I also kept crashing taking off because plane would veer to the left.
Calibrated few times but I think it’s something wrong in the axis controls that’s outa wack and shutting off auto pilot

Clipboard > Options > Preferences > Flight > Auto Engage AutoPilot

With Auto Engage AP  activated - the default keys will only work when you are with a certain tolerance of level. Disable this option if you want to use AP as it was for now.

I tried this and was unsuccessful after initial climb out and level off.  Dove into a fight and when accelerated back to altitude auto pilot would not engage,
