Unmapped Controller Front and Center after Login
« on: April 20, 2018, 10:16:46 PM »
After upgrade, I now have my Xbox controller front and center showing all the buttons that are unmapped. How do I get it off the screen? I don't use that controller for game play, I use my Saitek. While we're at it. Anyone know how to map fire to my mouse left click button? It somehow got unmapped and I can't figure out how to remap it.

To get rid of the Xbox image on the splash screen, just move one of the thumb sticks on the game pad.  To stop the image from appearing each time you start AH, you'll have to disable the Xbox controller in game.

In game, bring up the clipboard and navigate to the following:
Options-> Controls->Map Controllers

In the drop down menu, select the Xbox controller and check the "Disable Controller" box.  With the Xbox controller disabled, the image will no longer appear.

 :aok Thank you, Sir.

Any idea on how to remap my left mouse button to fire? It would be awful handy to have that when I'm in a bomber turret or a field gun.

If you have disabled the auto mode selection, just go to Options->Controls->Map Controllers, make sure the correct stick is mapped, then press (or double-click) the button you want to map.

If you have auto-mode select enabled, then you will need to do that for each mode.
