is it cheating?
« on: May 12, 2018, 02:42:32 PM »
removed the tracers a few days ago.  first time I flew without them I got 7 kills.  I am pretty good at getting behind a con and staying there.  but I noticed without tracers they have a tendency to fly straight or do slow turns thinking I am not firing.  with tracers they flip flop all over and I had a had time getting a kill.  anyway it's easier to get kills now.

what do you guys think?

Give it time...you will come across a "Flopper" even without tracers :rofl I have some great film of it, COMPLETELY out of guns, stay on them and let them flop all the way into the ground...sooner or later :uhoh Some flop better than others, and can manage to prolong the life even through the seizure like floping :devil It is HARD to fly and laugh at same time :old:

Not using tracers to avoid alerting the enemy to misses is a historically accurate tactic.

I have only very rarely used tracers. I'd guess about 5% of the time I have flown or less have I had tracers on.

I use tracers to make people turn. I really don't think it's a advatage. Maybe if your surprising someone that's afk.

People that cry about others not having tracers turned on are just trying to explain their suckage away.

It's not cheating, since it's a feature that is available to everyone.  :old:
