Spain vs Portugal was some game.

It sure was.

Ronaldo 3-3 Spain
https://www.foxsports.com/west/story/cristiano-ronaldo-hat-trick-portugal-spain-world-cup-061518

It is crazy but now Iran is right now leading Group B!
(b/c of an own goal by Morocco in the last moments of the game!)

So far the game that kept me on the edge of my seat:
Argentina 1-1 Iceland

Goal Attempts on Target Argentina: 18
Goal Attempts on Target Iceland: 4

I am not sure I understood what Iceland was doing - but it worked.

Halldórsson (goalie) will never buy a beer again for the rest of his life.

One has to wonder about France with the Ozzies giving them a hard time.

I missed France 2-1 Australia

Looking forward to Germany Mexico tomorrow   :x

only game that has been pretty poor so far was last night croatia vs nigeria.

good use of the var yesterday.  players will have to adapt and learn that doing the sneaky little fouls in the box will be highlighted and punished.  turned out that they missed the pens anyway but good to see.  less cheating more goal opportunities.

Today all I can watch is Tunisia vs. England.

And then, as luck would have it, I'm off to the airport for a flight to London.  If England wins, I am wondering just what exactly I'll have the chance to get done the next day.
(We will be cheering for England!)

ENGERRLAND!!!

despicable play from the tunisians, making the beautiful game ugly.  one chance one goal.  should have been 5 nil at half time, 2 pens not given on super harry kane, its football not wrestling!  var seemed to go missing in this game when it worked well for everyone else!!

cant wait for the belgium game as it should be end to end stuff.

Agree, Ref shouldn't have bought that phony penalty on Youssef.

He sold it well.

But no matter.

(I think that I saw him smiling after it was called.)

Anyway, thinking it over, I sure hope that they are enforcing all sobriety rules at Heathrow tonight!
