well england deserved to win some smart saves from pickford to keep them out.  lets hope for some red cards, lots of injuries, extra time and penalties again for russia vs croatia.

croatia should win it on paper but this tournament has seen plenty of upsets already.

How awesomesauce will it be if England wins and faces France in the finals.  Come ON England!  What a great rivalry, you couldn't write this stuff, England vs France (tabarnac!) in the finals.  Probably be the most watched sporting event in world history.  Haven't been this pumped for a soccer/footy game in...forever this Wednesday.

whilst i pray that england get through it will be a close game against croatia.

Belgium were the better team offensively tonight but de bruyne didnt have a good game and they were a little unbalanced with their right winger suspended chadli was no replacement for him.  lukaku didnt get enough ammunition and France soaked up all the pressure.  From an England point of view id rather play france than belgium.  just have to get through now but I have a bad feeling about those croatians they have looked a solid team.

not sure what happened at half time we looked comfortable and in control just no second goal to go with that wonderful free kick. 

croatia upped their game 2nd half and got their goals through poor defending.  could have been 4 4 with all the chances that went a miss.  when they cleared stones header off the line for us to go 2 1 up in extra time i knew that was it.  least they saved us from another penatly shoot out i dont think i could have watched.

if i was being overly critical i guess we could have started without young, sterling and henderson  but they managed to get that far so he stuck with the starting 11. 

good luck to croatia in the final ill be cheering for them.

No worry England, 4th place isnt bad  :D

It would be one of the greatest moments in the history of sports if Croatia beats France in the final, i dont expect that to happen though.

Croatia have shown that they have an outstanding morale and fighting spirit and i think they got all they motivation they needed...

the england team werent expected to do anything this WC.  they managed to beat a bunch of average teams including sweden. 

maybe the its coming home thing is misinterpreted as arrogance when it isnt. 

itv and playing in white both need to be banned though.  :D
