New: Motherboard - RAM- Video Card - Needed Win10

N0.2 son (I have 3) says he wants to upgrade old beastly PC, we bought Motherboard, RAM and GTX Video Card, all starts well then screen says this Processor was made for a different version of Windows , Da**mit JIm! .......... Found that MS still lets you download Win10 for free and gives you a key, below is link, not sure why but there it is , not a Big fan of Win10, dislike the tiles and Edge always being on in the background, hope it can be useful.

there is still a download of Win 10 for free. Its not easy to locate. Has to do with the ease of access applications and folks who need them.

The link HL117 works as a clean install using a valid Windows7 license. Most likely Windows 8 computers apply a working code from somewhere inside the system. Microsoft obviously wants us all to migrate to 10.
