Well
« on: August 13, 2018, 09:44:34 PM »
Got my PC “fixed” and I really pushed it in their brains to make sure my Hitcech Creations files would be lost in the rest....

But apparently not. I lost all film and content from 2012-present.

Quite heart breaking.

I pulled my game machine out of storage to update and get ready for AH. The main drive froze and so did my backup. Neither will spinup even after freezing and the ol wrist flip. I replaced the drives.

I am contemplating removing the platters and placing them in a good body to see if I can recover my files.

So they overwrote the old files? I was going to say I've got a reader I could try to get stuff off of it with.

There is a very slight possibility of recovery with a file recovery tool. Some can recover from formatted disk. If you have used the computer much though the file areas are probably overwritten already.

Regardless of spin up, does your PC recognize the drives?

DAYAMM!!!!

Interesting info... I was able to get all my music that I lost on my drive. I have a lot of music as i do videos for events as a hobby. I simply went to the places where i purchased them and they were still in my account to download again.
