Cockpit Self Shadowing
« on: August 23, 2018, 12:42:02 PM »
The development of Cockpit self shadows has had several development stages. In the old days it was a huge drain in the FR. But several iterations alone the way were quite fantastic, some not so good. The latest one seems to be a combination of both. The shadows have sharp High resolution look when reflecting on surfaces inside a fixed radius circle (sphere?). Outside the radius the shadow is pixelated and blurry. But the radius doesn't cover the whole plan it only covers half the plane. so there is a discontinuity on the wing where the cockpit shadows look both sharp and blurry

So my wish is that the radius be expanded to cover a encapsulates the Plane.  :salute
