Permanent squelch

Too common harassment from certain players, would like to just have an ability to permanent squelch instead of having to read pms from Kilroy and GT101 whenever we play at the same times.

Perma-squelch would be fine if it was tied to the account rather than the game ID. One of the major arguments against it is the fact that if you perma-squelch someone if someone else takes the ID later down the road, it will squelch them too.

Perhaps a 30 day squelch or something would be ideal.

HT's stance has always been no to this, because it precludes the possibility of mending fences.  I happen to disagree with that, there are people who I simply don't care what they have to say.

If you're being harrassed by someone, .report will allegedly have an effect.  I've never been harassed so I don't know personally.  I can see how it'd suck though having that first PM in a session from a dolt reminding you to squelch them.

Since HT seemingly won't do permasquelch, .report's about your only recourse.
