ZOMG!  This one only took 18 years or so...

Probably go Allied  :)
I get really really tired of selective realism disguised as a desire to make bombers easier to kill.

Congratulations. I have always wanted to see one done with a sub for the Boomerang. Maybe I will get to work on that  :D

Well just for those who didn't know the Axis were all in cahoots!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDcEjtlJ3dw

Watch up til about 2.30.  It has a lead in with the invasion of Salamaua. That event was actually 3 weeks after the Darwin bombing segment.

You can see ships in the harbour and the town burning left from Kido Butai's work as these high level bombers arrive.  They then smack RAAF Darwin.
Yes this is German.  :)

This is a very grainy colour film shot on the harbour. At 1.50 you can see the Neptuna blow up.  She had a full load of bombs, depth charges etc.  At 1.22 you can see the USS Peary.  She took 5 bomb hits and 88 US Navy people died with her.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2D3u40dXtk

This is a Pathe Gazette report on one of the later raids.  The quality of the Japanese bombing shouldn't be doubted.  That's the main part of town going up (again).
The Japanese level bombed from very high alts and were quite effective.

Lots and lots more stuff on youtube but some is just crap.

There's Bengal fans in Straya? Always knew those guys were crazy. LoL
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Bit of action over the last month at Darwin.  Once bombed a few dozen times you tend be a bit edgy and practice some for the next time.
Cheesy community TV (Aboriginal Channel) for ya.  Tilt - Router!
