TU-2 magic drone leash
« on: August 29, 2018, 06:11:26 AM »
I thought the bomber drone leash was supposedly adjusted a while back.  TU-2s have always been able to make all sorts of violent maneuvers and not lose their drones.  In this case, the lead makes a steep dive from 9.5k @ 329 mph and reaches speeds of 448 mph on the way to 2.8k to dive bomb town.  Then just pulls up and the drones that were thousands of feet away magically reassemble into formation.  Later, he makes a hard turn and the drones blow up quite far away from him.

Posted the short clip of the problem and the whole sortie, just in case.

"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Wow that was me, I wondered why I dropped bombs on myself. I fly bombers very rarely so I just dive bomb with them. I missed everything and your red carpet got free kills. What's the worry.....

HTC really need to fix the Tu-2s. I think they are way to fast and also seems to never miss a hit on a cv. Even being on flames falling into sea, they will manage to land their hit.
