With the whole score and K/D thing removed the aggression was much better.

Here's the thing....I never worried about score, and frankly, if you can't get kills in mid or early war planes...you really don't deserve to fly the Uber planes. But I guess there's that certain type of envy that makes men buy fast cars and big guns.

I think it was more the novelty of people enjoying being able to fly perk planes without losing perks than anything else, not so much score.

The people who worry about "score" 90% of the time are actually worried about dying most of all, and their flying reflects that. It wouldn't change if you hid the numbers, they'd still know.

Nah.  People who have an ego to protect will avoid dying.  If you don't care about what other people think of your score you'll just fly.

wouldn't want a steady diet of it but it was a hoot.  all the jets! it was crazy but fun.. might be nice for a once a week thing or maybe even a Friday night deal for a few hours...  maybe even get some new players knowing they can get in a jet at no cost.... the low B-29's coming over the base was really something...

We watched a 262 do a Kamikaze run on our carrier. I had to do a double take because for a moment I thought it was a Nakajima Kikka

The Tempest's guns suck by the way, whats up with them? I strafed a Spixteen and saw at least four pings and he flew on. I also dewinged a Corsair (both of them) and only got an assist. Was a bit surprised. Every crossing shot I generated felt good but no positive outcome. I was unable to give Zakbell a hard time

Must have been bad luck, in my experience the Tempest guns with their increased rate of fire is really one of the best set of armaments in game.

I could not believe the guys in manned guns last night.  Each to their own but they were missing out.  You are free as a bird when there are no constraints of lost perks...

LOL I have like 50,000 or 60,000 perks. Rarely use them. Sounds like everyone is having a ball though. That is what the whole thing is about.

Yes he did That dang feller LatinLUV was a beast in it too! I like the guy...but NOT IN THAT THING   He was still in it at 9:30pm est...they were disabled around 3:00pm...a MONSTER FROM HELL(HOUNDS)  I did however enjoy shooting up a bunch of 262's in my wirb. I landed 15 kills TWICE..but Latin LUV landed 29 in his claw I had a BLAST. Seemed a lot less EGO was evident....usually get hate mail with 1 or 2 dueces killed. Tonight zero
