I see an exhaust poking out, is that a Moki motor or some other similar type?  I’ve been flying some bigger scale electrics, Horizon stuff, haven’t ventured into gas power yet.

Very nice Corsair.

Is that Composite ARF? I am very jealous of your flying field. If only we had some wide open space down here.

If it is not an ARF, what kit is it? Looks good.

Pretty cool.   Back in the day RC Corsairs were legendary for being squirrelly.   :aok

Thanks. It's a Hangar 9 kit (86" wingspan) but I stripped off all of the covering, fiberglassed it, then did paint, rivets, panel lines and other details. Powered by a 70cc twin cylinder gas engine. Flies great.

And it's a real work of art, too.  Very well done!

Thank you all for the comments, really appreciate it.

VERY. nice Wep! Even looks like Boyington sitting there!

Thanks J, I order my pilots from http://www.bestpilots.typepad.com/, the owner sculpts and casts his pilots from photos of the real person, Boyington in this case. He can even do a custom pilot using your own face from pictures (I'm way too ugly for that tho). He will even paint them for you for a fee but I prefer painting them myself.

That is AWESOME! Custom pilots!

Ya know....there's a business model everywhere you turn. I salute that guy.

Great looking Corsair WpnX.

BTW there is a company in the UK called Real Model Pilots that 3D prints model pilots and other parts like guns or radial/rotary engines to your spec and size. Their site is:- http://realmodelpilots.co.uk
