Killshooter off?
« on: August 12, 2001, 11:52:00 AM »
according to the log 1 of my guys (JV44), anRky was killed by a friendly (axis). Was a real shame he was on a 3 kill run   :(

How will that be scored?

I read the rules on arena settings and understand that historical/realistic is the goal for the settings which is great. I'm just not so sure that everyone knew killshooter was off.

Is killshooter off for TOD?
Friendly collisions are they off as well?

Thnks in advance   :)

Kill shooter is off for all TOD's.
Friendly colisions are also off.

Shame about anRky. His squad will receive the credit for his kills, but will be docked his loss even though it was friendly fire.

Well, it really sucked to die, but it did have a very authentic feel to it.  One moment I was on top of the world--all the jugs below me, three kills behind me closing fast on number four, just about to open fire--then *bam*, it was over.  Another victim of the fortunes of war.  Never knew what hit me.

...until I looked in the text buffer, of course.

Sorta reminds me of my first AW scenario.  I was shot down in my pony by a jug while chasing a 190.  Didn't know he was behind me, either.
