     In actual combat unless it's 2 Third World countries doing battle, equipment and  supplies  are rarely interchangeable.   Having another team scarf your supplies up is an inaccurate concept.

Both sides regularly used captured supplies such as fuel.

Why is that an inaccurate concept when they are flying the same planes as you, and driving the same tanks, and vehicles as you?

Good idea, we should also make sups specific to tank types, e.g panzer or tiger or t34 or m4.... I doubt sups were universal across types as well.

Yes, specific supplies. Roll over to collect, and get the specific thing added to the vehicle. Fly through a fresh 75mm cannon with a fighter to equip it.
