Dolgushin's La-7
« on: October 22, 2018, 03:36:40 AM »
This is an update of a skin originally submitted by Fencer in 2008.

This La-7 was flown by Major Sergei Dolgushin, CO of the 156th fighter aviation regiment from September 1944. Dolgushin flew as a fighter pilot throughout the war, scoring his first kill in June 1941 and flying his last mission in May 1945. He scored 17 kills plus 11 shared in over 500 missions and was awarded Hero of the Soviet Union. His La-7 featured a hand-picked engine and a total stripped, resprayed and polished paint job to reduce drag. The red nose and red and white tail were for corps/squadron ID rather than personal markings.

Step away for a few days and you guys are cranking them out!  :airplane:
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
