FDB Tragedy
« on: August 18, 2001, 12:51:00 AM »
Fatty & SOB sleep with the fishes.  While on our CAP of CV58, we encountered 109s in our P38s and were forced to dump our external tanks.  We then mixed it up a little, ending in them rtb'ing and us continuing our CAP.  Now low on fuel, we decide to land on the carrier two at a time to re-fuel and re-arm.  Being FDBs, this is especially dangerous as CV landings are our natural enemies.  Despite this, we landed beautifully on the carrier and 'mon backed our P38s up to the pad.  Then, while sitting there smug with our success, the CV was jabo'd and we were sent to our watery graves.

Film at 11!

I will survive a TOD yet...just not sure when!   :D  Now I'm off to Boise to go to a stupid wedding.  Blecchhhhh!

1. You land like an old lady.

2. You're a dweeb of the highest order for trying that at all.

3. NEENER NEENER NEENER ASSASSINS strike again! <109s and 190s>
