What a pain
« on: November 09, 2001, 10:36:00 PM »
After three discos and trying to get the terrain downlaoded for the event, I show up ten minutes late and the fields are closed.  It's bad enough these things don't start until 23:00, but getting shut out for a slow server gets to be too much.  Terrains should be avilable off the main board and not a force download the night you are trying to get in.

Am I really ticked off...you bet

We wanted them to be, but as pyro stated in his announcment they did not put them up till today.  http://www.hitechcreations.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=3&t=000231
Out of CM hands. It has been up in the SEA for 2 days and that is all we could do.

The terrain has been in the arena for 2 days Hening and I believe there was also a post urging folks to log in and get it before Friday nite at event time to avoid the situation you just put yourself into.

Sling I'm with you on this one bro.

You did post that and common sense would tell you to download it early "Just in case".

That's what I did and I had a riot last night.  You CM's did a fantastic job and the Nightmares are going to be part of this scenario from here on out.  Keep up the good work CM's!!
