Recently I bought a simple "budget" card mostly for computing/OpenCL testing on non Nvidia Hardware since I already have GTX 960.
New Card:
MSI Gaming Radeon RX RX 560 AERO ITX 4G OC (note it includes 16 compute units/1024 cores - since there are many 560 variants)
Before that I played on GTX 960 but I wanted something additional from AMD. I got one on Amazon for something like $130 before taxes/shipment. It was fairly good deal since in Israel it would cost me much more. Also I selected the card such I could put it later to 2nd PCI-E slot so I got in ITX form factor without external power.
Also I didn't get one for gaming it worked very well with AH3!
Presets: All sliders/options at maximum but:
1. Trees - lowest level (same on GTX 960)
2. Env mapping at 1 instead of All. (this one I had on All at gtx 960 and reduced to 1 on Radeon)
It gave me solid 45 to 55 FPS at 1080p even over towns with shooting and was quite smooth play without FPS drops.
I must admit I'm quite surprised that today virtually nobody mentions Radeon cards...
