I'd figure you were more Garth Brookes.  :lol

I'm actually guitar poor, meaning, I'm a player/collector, and I grew up playing "wild wood flower" and "dueling banjos" among other bluegrass and gospel songs.

Lynyrd Skynyrd band is and will always be my all-time favorite with TESLA being my all-time 2nd favorite

My Great Uncle wrote 5 songs and sold them to Waylon Jennings that includes "Good Ole Boys" rather known as the Dukes of Hazard, which is really about the stuff my Dad and his brother and uncles use to do....love me some Wahtasha

Great Movie and I know all them roads....

Also know what it's like to have 30+ deputies, state patrol cars chasing you, trying to catch you (I was only 5, Dad was driving back from getting doughnuts from Krispy Kreme), and Papa and my his brother was crowding my Dad in the front seat of Mom's 55 Crown Vic with 4 speed, haha the memories, we passed the Sheriff and the chase was on... I-77 hadn't been completed yet and Papa told my Dad that they had not put the bridge in yet and Daddy being him said F it too late and jumped it then went to Papa's house (log cabin) and everyone hid, except for me.... I was in the back floor eating doughnuts...

Man, my parents were huge Waylon Jennings fanatics.

I was more Pink Floyd.  :)

Wouldn't that pre-suppose he had a brain?   :rofl

Is there a Rule #4 in CptTrip’s future?

I'm all across the spectrum concerning genre's.....welcome the jungle....

If it has a good beat/ryhthm that I can dig, then I'll listen to it

I'm at the point that I felt I could share where some song came from and what/who it was actually about because my Dad is not long for this earth age and the others have already passed...

I have kept a lot to myself over many years, but since Mom passing this past July.....now I can open up just a little more about my life

Cheers

I'm more like "Through Glass"  by Stone Sour all the way to George Jones "White Lightning"

Some might know me as a Bob Dylan nut, as well

LOL

LoL.  I was just gonna ask him about rap.  :rofl :rofl :rofl

I remember the day I walked into my barracks dorm to find my new roommate was big time rap NWA fan.  I thought it was going to be a problem, but after a while I was like whatever.  no worse than heavy metal vomit rock I guess.

Oh, gee, I dunno, maybe the guy hurling insults at me in every single post.   Ritalin?   Really?

But I guess insulting Skuzzy when one is falsely butthurt creates some sort of exemption.

Sorry to hear that, but remember that all that exists is impermanent, and we are all mortal.

The real point is that to have ever had people to care about in the first place, and great stories to tell about them, are a treasures beyond value.  You are a rich man.

Show Me How To Live...........just let it go, he has you put on his Ignore list, he only sees (possibly) what someone might quote, I'm assuming...

He is not my audience.   I couldn’t care less that he alleges to have me on ignore.

It's all good, She went home and isn't suffering anymore!

Had to keep my older sister and my kids from reminding that yesterday was their 54th wedding anniversary, so it didn't drive him into a depression mood...
