Awesome 12-hour Target For Today (Leyte, 1944) runs January 26th

Another awesome 12-hour battle is coming January 26th (from noon to midnight Eastern time). 

In this format of special event, people can play in whatever portion of that 12-hours that suits them.  Fresh takeoffs happen on the hour every hour.

It is "Leyte, 1944" -- a late-war battle in the Philippines involving air combat, bombing, attack, and antishipping.

P-38's, P-47's, F6F's, B-24's, and B-25H's vs. Ki-84's, N1K2's, Ki-61's, Ki-67's, and Ki-45's (Bf 110C's).

If you are going to play in it, please register.  Walkons are welcome, too.

Here is a fun fact from a short description of the Saga of the Sun Setters (The Illustrated History of the 38th Bombardment Group During World War II Volume II: October 1943 to 1945): Over Formosa the 38th was so successful at destroying Japanese fuel-alcohol plants that it earned the nickname of "The Alcohol Busters of Formosa."

So forget all the forum purse fighting BS and join the 38th BG/ 405th BS "Green Dragons" and fly the B-25H. Become the winged pirates of the Leyte Gulf area- take what you can and give nothing back!

Thee hee! Good! However I will leave the gl position to Brooke in this one. I might be there the full 12 hours , not at all or somewhere in between. It all depends on the level of commitment my new job demands of me. We'll see in January

Battle 360 is a cool show. I wish they would have branched out to other fronts/wars.
