Vive lenses swapping

Has anyone swapped out the original Vive Fresnel lenses for the Samsung gear VR lenses?

Update

I swapped the lenses out in my vive pro.

It increased clarity and enlarged the sweet spot

I would recommend it to anyone not happy with the original lens experience

I would be interested to know how to acquire these lenses and fit them.

I am loving the VR experience, especially in a dog fight.

I have a 1080ti gpu. Frustratingly I get a Vive black out when it has to do the most work. When I am right on the enemy's tail and going for the kill...blank screen,crash,die.

I have a big, curve screen monitor which is the main reason I upgraded the graphics card. Now the card has to work to display on the monitor and the Vive Pro at the same time. That is a lot of computing. Surely it would make sense not to display on the monitor while the head set is in use, or at least have that option.

once you swap the lenses - watch out for dust - you will need to modify a vive config file

much clearer for me with gearVR lenses
