Marketing Events inside the game

Anyway you can figure out a way to put an event calendar either in the message arena board or on the main online arena selection screen. It would be great for players who don't check the boards. Great for new players to see and wonder about the event. Great for players to be able to plan for them. It would allow New players to see more than just a MA. So many great reasons imo why it should be considered. I feel like it wouldn't be hard to get a CM or Volunteer to update the calendar every month. What do ya say?

I like this idea. Great reminder for us old cusses too.

With private entries to plan squad night. Or invite random people to whatever activity. With accept/decline option to see who'll be there.

And introduce mailboxes, so we can send messages to other players that are not currently online. Maybe even attach a few perk points to mails.

Why not just re-wish for Hitech to move to Discord which much of this is possible.

Guaranteed most people don't even know what is. I'm trying to make it very simple.

I'm thinking something like a little calendar on the arena select page where people can see events for the month and even RSVP! It would attract more players to the events. Allow sqauds to RSVP. It would bring some spirit to the special events because a lot more people would know about them and could plan accordingly.

This is something that would seriously help Special Events and the AVA.

The ability for CM's or the lead CM only to have MOTDs or Pop-Up windows for events would be awesome.

100-150 characters would suffice.

This is all great. I really enjoy the scenarios. Flights are organized as the Missions in the MA used to be. What might be justification for an ad in the MA is the fact that even guys in my squad knew nothing about these events before or after the event took place. A small one liner when logging in advertising the event or a calender surely wouldnt stir things up that bad.

Event calendar in-game is a good idea.
The clipboard already supports a browser so I suppose it is possible that you would see the event page/more details in the clipboard when you click on an event.

It would greatly help the CM Staff as much as it would help the members that fly but never bother with looking at the Messageboards or the AH HomePage or FaceBook, etc...
