Repurpose the Indestructible Hangar
« on: January 18, 2019, 09:43:27 PM »
Place a big Red Cross on the roof.  Taxi your aircraft inside there if possible with your pilot wound.  Wait 60 seconds and you have been discharged with full recovery to fight and die some more.

The medical hangar can't be destroyed.  During an enemy attack, anyone caught inside being treated for your injuries can be killed from enemy strafing or bombing.

Chuck Norris can pick oranges from an apple tree and make the best lemonade in the world. Every morning when you wake up, swallow a live toad. Nothing worse can happen to you for the rest of the day. They say money can't buy happiness. I would like the opportunity to find out. Why be serious?

Cute idea really.  Better than a big unusable block of real estate which is what it is now.  Might have to add some criteria to getting in such as being PW'd so it is not abused as a bunker by base squatters.

Might also add repair any plane damage but not add fuel nor armament reload.

Then where do you propose he move our ability to choose our rides, load outs, and convergence. Years ago he left the doors open and people would hide in the back fragging everyone.

Here I opened the doors and looky what's inside....

I'd gladly spend perks for a repair/med hanger/pad.

I'm amazed no one is wishing that the main door be opened again with the addition of those 4 side delivery doors to enhance the places a tank can hide after a capture to drive everyone nutz. I can see filling those 4 delivery pass through's with wirbels and tanks playing peekaboo against defenders or at the last moment just before a capture. Also 2 of those doors face the open back of the fighter spawn hanger on small feilds along with controlling a line of sight to the map rooms on Oceania.

In the picture above you can see the closed doors that the truck on the left here below is parked waiting for the doors to be opened. Because of where the convergence targets are located, the main hangers doors that can be opened would face away from the runways. Make it a lot easier to sneak into. The indestructible is patterned after a repair and fitting hanger with those low brick sheds along each side being metal work and fabricating rooms full of machinery and supplies. I will bet at some point Hitech and Waffle considered the idea of leaving those pass through's and the back door open. Some squad would all bail out and hide as pilots in those pass through's as a fun mission.

I would like to see the door opened . I asked for the door to be opened back when AH3 was still in Alpha.  :furious

Great place to watch the map room when the base is under attack and when planes fly in low to peek in,  they get main gunned  LOL.  :rofl

Waffle can put little green frogs all over the walls if Hitech wants him to. I remember a lot of whining in AH2 about people hiding in the indestructible messing up captures. I have trouble thinking Hitech actually listened to that whine over all the other whines back then. I mean there is a porch in the town you can park under and become invisible from the air that has screwed up a few captures since AH3 went live.

You can drive into an indestructible hanger at some V bases on the CraterMA map, if you know where the hole is.
I am not telling where it is.  :neener: :neener: :neener:
