91 Squadron Spitfire Mk V
« on: January 20, 2019, 11:33:52 AM »
Guppy35 requested that I update this 2008 Mus51 Spitfire Mk V skin for the February scenario.

This Spitfire Mk V was the personal aircraft of Squadron Leader Robert Oxspring while CO of 91 "Nigeria" Squadron based at Hawkinge in 1942. Oxspring was a pre-war RAF pilot who fought in the Battle of Britain and through to the end of the war. He scored at least seven kills and was awarded the DFC three times. After the war he stayed in the RAF and in 1949 led a flight of Vampire jets on a tour of Canada and the USA, the first time jets had crossed the Atlantic.

Oops! I meant to do so but it slipped my mind. I'll add them before I submit the skin.

Excellent work.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
