I thought the upgrade to version 3 was great. I have no idea why it wasn't a bigger success. Maybe it was the maps and the game play, and all the vehicle fighting. But I liked the update itself.

Technically AH3 is better than AH2 in every possible way (unless you run a 15 yeats old computer with an inboard graphics processor).

AH2 was bigger because times were different. The world has moved on, though oddly it moves in a circle around the sun, so we should be back in the same olace every year. Then again, the solar system is circling the galaxy, so we should be back in the same place in 240 million years, give or take the odd 10 million.
