Custom WWI Skin Embedded in Custom Terrain?

I've successfully embedded a P-51 skin into a custom terrain, however I have not gotten a WWI skin to work.
I'm suspecting there is a bug here, but before I log it I want to sanity check.

Has anyone successfully embedded a WWI custom skin into a custom terrain in AHIII?
