This has real potential.  I hope it's good.

On a side note, I read Catch 22 in high school just to learn what the phrase meant.  I had no idea the book was about WWII bombers.  Totally awesome when I realized that.

The original isn’t that bad.   It was just competing with ****MASH

I remember reading about making the original and there was something about making a few planes look like a lot by having them take off circle back land and take off again. I remember it said that it was a very high density altitude day and it was all kind of risky. I think the results are pretty good:https://youtu.be/nLMDIlxUa58

The original was garbage and like all hippy liberal garbage is why we have triggering and safe spaces today.

I started reading Zack's comment, but fainted before I could finish.  Upon regaining consciousness, I had to go to my safe-space chat group for emotional support and got some avocado toast and a glass of raw water to console myself.

This book is extremely difficult to turn into a watchable movie.
I REALLY hope they pull this off.

The book was magnificent, a film doing it any justice would need to be at least four hours long.

I read that book at least 3 times. It was comforting humor.

The original was garbage and like all hippy liberal garbage is why we have triggering and safe spaces today.

And has become a major cult favorite.   :old:

I happen to like it.  I laugh my arse off every time I see it.   MASH was what sucked, not Catch-22.
