Ditto. Too many limitations to make it viable for a daily driver, for me.
I had an electrician install a wall connector in my garage. I can charge the car after 11pm when the lowest electrical rates are available(12.7 cents per Kilowatt). If the battery is really low the cost to charge it is less than 10 dollars (U.S.). Electricity might be less expensive in your community. Charging time at home is usually around 3 hours. My connector puts out 48 amps. If you are able to get 100 amps out of your connector your charging time will be close to half of mine. You can get up to 310 miles to a charge if you order their largest battery. The next update will increase that to 325 miles.

When I charge at a Tesla Supercharger it is roughly the same price.
There are also lots of apps you can add to your smart phone that tell you where you can charge your car in the event their is not a Tesla charger around. Lot of chargers (ie. PlugShare App) in my community are free. The free chargers are usually 30 amps/ 220v and if you are there for an hour or two you can add 40 to 80 miles to your battery while you are shopping or eating at a restaurant. The charging networks continue to grow and in the next couple months Tesla will release version 3 of their supercharger which should allow one to charge their car in 15 -25 min (currently 30-50 min) depending on how many are charging at one time.
EVGo offers fast charging. Their rates are similar to home charging and Teslas supercharging network. I know lots of people who regularly take trips in their Tesla. It has become as easy as filling up with gasoline and in the future will be just a fast.
Aside from being way less expensive than gas or diesel, there is no maintenance of any kind. No oil changes, oil filter, transmission fluid (no transmission) and that makes it much cheaper to operate. You don't have to smell gas or diesel anymore when you "fill up."

To answer Vulcan's question: Currently the car has two modes: Chill and Sport. There is no mention of any warranty issues in the Owners Manual.
There will be an update coming out soon called Track Mode. That will increase performance and I would guess there will be warranty issues brought up when it is released.

I have a diesel truck and I do not miss that engine sound one bit. It is nice to go down the freeway and have a conversation where no one has to talk loud to be heard. There is no reason to play the stereo loud either. The only sound I ever hear are the tires at high speed when on the freeway.
