The new editor doesn't add the clipboard map when I click build terrain,if I fly in the editor I have the clipboard map, if I move the res file to the game folder I lose the map.

Also all spawn points disappear with the exception of hanger spawns when I move the res file to the game terrain folder, they display and work correctly inside the editor.

I also have noticed a small graphics glitch at the corner of tiles when viewed from certain angles - it appears as a short metallic colored line.

Just hit rebuild again, it still has the same old fussiness as the other editors.

Also when you are happy with the 512 x 512 bmp map in the editor clip board then divide it up into the (4) 256 x 256 maps. (map0, map1, map2, map3).

As for takeoff positions
1)what was the first shape added to your terrain.
2)if it was a (vehicle, port, airfield) that had a tower with it, did you remove the original tower at grid 10.24 / 10.24.

The new editor doesn't require the clipboard map to be quartered. <tried it both ways>

I've compiled the Philippines terrain I'm working on probably 25+ times in the last few months and also the Hostile Shores map numerous times, this was never a problem until the update.

Sorry Jihad wasn't aware of that, but you can still 1/4 the full map to get it to work for now.
