I've read Pem's monograph and think that it is excellent.

I especially like the sections "Get off my lawn", "The unassailable power of anecdotal evidence", and my all-time favorite "Because I think so".

Pem masterfully articulates all of the greatest reasoning techniques and arguments we see on the boards.
