I'm sure it it because of my monitor size...

I can't properly use the terr. editor cause buttons are off screen and i cannot get to them to use the program properly.

Y'all have anything a little...smaller(for slightly smaller monitors)??

You have to run in at least 1024x768

I've tried that and the 1280x1024 and it doesn't affect what AH or the Terrain Editer size...just everything else on my computer.

If there isn't anything else that can be done to "shrink" the Editer, I will just remove the program from the computer and wait until I buy another with a larger monitor.

The reason I believe it's the monitor is that I was watching RudeDawg on his comp...
he had settings just below 1024x786 with a larger monitor (17", I believe it was; it is larger than mine...that I know).

So, try the Terr.Editer on a smaller monitor and get back to me with the results, please.

Thanks HiTech.

Hey,

Youve got to go into your
aheditor or Aces High/Settings directory and delete Video.cfg . Then restart AH.

 Glad to help!

Hey, do you know how to reload maps in the editor?

Tried that, and still have options off-screen(I cannot reach them).
I'm not sure how to reload maps to the editer...if you want to, look in the O'Club forum, scan through the posts for large numbers of replys, check for xtremely large pics...then ask those persons your question.
Hey I tried, with no avail.

Quiet.

Are you doing the screen resizing in the aheditor or in your desktop?

You must run editor and instead of selecting offline you select video.  In there you will see 1280 X 1024, select it.  That should take care of it.

Now to re-edit a terrain, just go to aheditor/settings and open file called curterr.cfg using notepad.  Remove the terrain name that is there and replace it with the one you want to work on.  Remmember, don't put the    .res   at the end of your terrain name.  Then close notepad, saving changes.  Now run aheditor and your terrain should be there.
