So the dynamic is finally transparently simple.

Typetypetypetypetype ......

It's obvious when you're wound up. You make long posts, trying to sound like you're smarter than you smell and pretend that you're cool headed for a hot head.   :D

You may wager upon the Thrall of your choice, but the minimum ante is set at 50 Quatloos.

You ain’t gonna p’ believe what episode of Star Trek I am watching right now (it was the next in line on my DVD).

Yep.

“The Gamesters of Triskelion” believe it or not.

Most certainly IN.

*sigh*  Or just tune out of the thread.  Sooner or later it will be locked because it's devoted to individuals who will not rest unless they get the last word.

Used to be fun to see people dueling to win arguments over who was the better pilot.  Spectators could circle around and watch the fight - heck, in AW you could all populate a party goon to view the show.  This one is mildly ugly, though, and the debate is unrelated to proficiency in the game.

Learn to respect others... Respect is a two-way street.

you're smarter than you smell

Hmmm hmm.

It's obvious when you're wound up... :D

Aggravating people with systematic and long-term, frog-boiling trolling and flame baiting until they react and then taking relish in the fact they have reacted is an accurate definition of trolling.

I think it is perfectly healthy to become aggravated eventually with a person whose only purpose is to continually deride, devalue and forward completely unfounded interpretations about what the other person thinks and does while simultaneously arguing from a position of assumed superiority. Which I don't see any evidence for at all - trolling notwithstanding.

I have offered you a duel, declared my plane and allowed you free choice to even select a perk plane but you'd rather troll on the forum because you can get some semblance of win / superiority here, in your domain and what you clearly think is your forum. To the point where I am not allowed to return - without your leave - or contribute pertinent discussion of ACM without you immediately insulting, trolling and flame bating while simultaneously implying that equates to an in-air victory in a combat flight sim. I don't think it does but at least I have had an opportunity to illustrate you for what you are.

I was only interested in Aces High for the air combat. If I am not permitted to discuss those topics without your eternal leg-humping attention - which apparently the moderators are unwilling or unable to check - then I'll concede the ground to you. I really have no interest in discussing much of anything else here any more. If I wanted guidance on life, maturity, or other wisdom I feel I would have better luck dunking my head for several minutes in the local pond and asking those biological entities instead. I'd probably come out cleaner and wiser than any interaction with you.

So congratulations, you win. The forum is absolutely yours to command and dominate. I shall contribute no further. Enjoy your tiny empire of attention, dominance and power in - what I'm sure - is the only domain you do enjoy those things. You are the undisputed, authoritative judge of what and who is acceptable and your energy to launch personal attacks limitless. I hope the domain outlasts you for your comfort and convenience. Thanks to people like you I think it's 50/50.

Please do enjoy your inevitable gloating and unchecked assertions about me after I'm gone. You have earned it.

At least Arlo is skilled with his trolling, Shida.   He beats you there.

A point I'm happy to concede.

Just so everyone knows, this is the type of atmosphere that has made me decide to end my subscription to Aces High. I came into the game yesterday for a moment, and realized I had been gone for so long, my settings were no longer saved, and I knew it wasn't worth redoing everything. My equipment is stored, and I won't be returning. Thanks for the years of fun. It's over now.

Hmmm hmm.

Then more typetypetypetypetype because you need to explain the unnecessary feelings you perceive as insight about .... well .... mainly me.

Wow, things don't get much more unhinged than that. It wasn't my actual intended result but I'll just watch, at this point, and see what continues to unfold.

Zen. Because when you need mental health nothing in modern medicine beats time out in your room.   :devil

Eh, it's an element of my Yoga class today. An element, mind you. It quickly transforms into positions that my body was not built to perform even in my younger, healthier days. I'm, more or less, the comedy relief for the rest of the class. All this for one small credit hour I'm not even required to take.  :blank:

Yoga. Because nothing in modern sports medicine maximizes strength, flexibility, and emotional balance like an ancient sex cult from India.  :devil

Zen practice is hard. The more popular Zen is the California version where you just sit and think about how awesome you are.

College credit. Nuff said.  :D

If you're old enough for yoga to be painful you're old enough to know better.   :old:

I needed one credit hour to round up to 12. The only courses that offer such are rec center courses. Originally it was SCUBA (which I really looked forward to). Then there was a last minute opening in 'The Golden Age of Piracy' (a junior level history course) that I wanted more. Such created a scheduling conflict so I had to change SCUBA to yoga and have been painfully suffering ever since.  :D

Luckily, I have no idea.  :D
