D Day Hellcat

Thank you to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this, an update to a skin originally done by Coprhead in 2009.

800 and 804 squadron's Hellcats formed part of the air wing of the escort carrier HMS Emperor during 1944. During this time they took part in air strikes against the German battleship Tirpitz, flew anti-submarine patrols during the Normandy invasion and flew air support for Operation Dragoon, the invasion of Southern France. For the Normandy landing D day stripes were applied to all Emperor's aircraft.

If approved and incorporated they will be. So far, I believe all that Greebo has offered have made the cut. I anticipate this one will, too.
