LA7 less popular? C205 bump?

Why do yall think the LA7 has become less prevalent in the MA compared to a year ago? It seems that the Yak3 has taken its place. I'd still argue that the LA7 is a more dangerous opponent.

Interestingly it appears the C205 has become more popular... looks like a few players are primarily responsible. Unlocking achievements?

The C.205 (minus 20MM cannon load out) is being used as sub-in for Mig3 in June FSO so expect to see more of them as fellas get more familiar with the airframe.  I concur LA7 is far more dangerous than either Yak-3 or C.205 in it's wheelhouse, mid-alt's to the deck.

Yak3 turns better and is easier to fly. I'm a mediocre cartoon pilot and I find it easier to fly planes that are turny than fast. I suspect that I am not alone and Yak3 is both turny and fast. I would like to see what the acceleration difference is between Yak3 and La7 but I have put away my joysticks.

Looks like the La has a slight advantage with WEP under 5K.

ENY forced switch?  The Rooks have had horribly high ENY lately in primetime.

The la7 is a better plane, though it doesn't perform as well as the Yak3 in the MA as a whole. They both get around the same # of kills but the Yak3 normally has a .2-.3 better K/D. The Yak3 is much smaller and much harder to shoot down from a dead 6. It takes much more damage. Planes that can escape the fight or cons on their 6 the fastest always have the best advantage. While 1v1 I might give it to the La7, most of the time it will come down to the pilot.

The C205. Now there is a plane for a real challenge. Like anybody wants that.... Lol

I take that back, the Yak3 gets 1000 more kills than a La7 with a .02-.04 better K/D.

205 is a pig.  Those people are misguided.

Compared to the 202 it is. 205 has the firepower advantage but the 202 is a much smoother handling machine.
