Have not seen it since it originally aired.  It still holds up marvelously.  Made for a nice binge watch.

YEP! It is on my rotation list! Along with The Tim Burns "Civil War" documentary, Gods and Generals/ Gettysburg films, The Pacific, Top GUN, and Iron Eagle! Oh, cant forget Full Metal Jacket or We Were Soldiers!! Shoot...almost forgot the We Shall Remain Documentary on Native American History.  :rock

I own the series AND The Pacific - another great one. I also own The Right Stuff - watched that with my young boys who were most impressed.

Yea both shows were great....band over brother and the pacific....I saw there is a new b17 documentary on hbo....thats on my next watch list when i turn on the tv.

Watched The Longest Day on Memorial day.  Always an old favorite too.

Wife found it on sale a few years ago and got it for me for Father's day.  Love watching it.  Sometimes I just pull out a couple episodes at a time.
