Wish I had a signature strip that listed my participation in games......It would make me so much more awesome.    Ohhhh  I could add in details of my CPU, GPU, RAM.....oh and my cooler......no wait I could even add in the fact I have VR.....MAN I AM SO COOL!!!!

Then I step in game and when the chips are down I just run from the fight because I am scared to lose because the chicks love points and I need points.

I know this is a pointless challenge but I will lay it out there anyway.   Arlo, I will renew my sub, come meet me in the DA, planes of your choice.  you win I gift you a 1 year sub to AH3.

No crying, just an honest fighter pilot type gauntlet challenge.   Best thing is if you lose you do not have to pay anything. You are in a no risk position.

I could make you sig strip. Do you want one with or without tears of frustration? Maybe one that says 'If I even think you made fun of me I'm gonna duel you to death .... then keep whining on the forum.' Or maybe 'So I exaggerate? My feewings were hurt!'

My sub's paid already, friend. My monitor's still nips up. You may have to satisfy yourself, for now (in whatever manner you choose). But when I do have a working monitor or goggles I anticipate no matter how many times we meet in game or how many times you win and film me you'll still be a hypersensitive soul, Francis.

When you go back and watch the original TG - knowing what we know how avionics and weapon systems work, it's very hokey-pokey. Also, the special effects of the F-5 (cough) I mean the Mig-28's are eye-rolling/eye-watering - even for the time.

Regardless, it was a HUGE marketing program for pilot programs around the world.  Maybe like Archie said, it'll generate interest in combat aviation again?

Yep - the hardware/hotas makers too, I know Virpil is getting a lot of pre orders for their F14 stick (fits their bases and the Thrustmaster Warthog and Cougars), plus TM has recently released their F18 stick, and WinWing from China has made an F18 Throttle/Stick that is out shortly and selling well by his account already in early/pre orders.  Once the film gets closer and opens, they'll see an even bigger uptick IMO, as will many flight sims/hardware companies across the board.  I thought the trailer looked great.
