BBS Slooooow?

Title says it all, seems like it takes forever to load a page, just sits there clocking..

Yes they did some changes. Hopefully they can get it fixed soon. Borders unusable at times.

I've noticed it, I've also noticed if I stop the loading of pages and refresh, they pop right up.

That's exactly what it was doing to me until sometime yesterday.

I suspect some kind of setting is propagating its way out across the internet.


Though it might take a while to get to W. VA.   :cool:

Yes out here in rural areas most times when it rains the string pulled between the two cans can become slack and the connections become sporadic.

Working very well for me at the moment. 
I accessed the BBS 7 times in row just to test.  Each time the site popped right up.

Edit: It's actually coming up faster than a lot of other websites I visit. (Facebook/Nvidia Forums/Weather/Youtube.)

W. Va........Western Virginia or West Virginia? I am in West Virginia :D All these hollers make Smoke Signal internet, shaky at best :old: OOps saw Nef was W. Va. lol Small world! With steep hills too :x

Just left Frontier DSL for Spectrum Cable here in Clarksburg. Went from 3.0mb/s to 100+Mb/s and loving it so far.
