Then why are you still here?  Why do you continue to sit here and criticize the game and it's owner when you don't play anymore?

Lusche still provides us all with very useful statistics, along with an encyclopedic knowledge of when various changes and additions were made to AH.  He’s not tried to change anyone’s mind here; he simply noted that the DAR setting is one of the factors which keep him from returning.  I think that’s a small price for us all to pay, considering the value he continues to provide us.

so after about 1.5yrs i come back to find no new planes and red guys show up on dar where the dar is down... how is this suppose to be less gamey? Thought they were working towards bringin in the masses, not micro managing a game that was perfectly good...

For someone who has  posted that they have been away from the game for the past 1 and 1/2 yrs and have just returned, it is very obvious that you are picking up right where you left off, posting on the message boards

and to add, it is apparent that the majority of your threads, posts and replies all seem to have common themes of either complaining about something, directing insulting post/replies towards others, etc ad infinium

Or to explain my reply more clearly...

Instead of throwing out toxic and negative threads and posts, why not strive to be optimistic and look for thoughts on how to help our community to grow.....whether it is by bringing in new players and helping them out to where they will want to stay and subscribing.....or even getting old long time players to come back and join us, to check out and see if they might have the itch to resubscribe

Just a friendly observation and suggestion

...guys that liked to plan out his run to avoid radar and get to a target unnoticed and return the same way. It was a challenge he enjoyed and it was taken away with this new dar.

Nothing about the new dar takes away the ability to do this.    You only show on dar if you've been intercepted.

don't ask for improvements around here this community is set in its ways they are all like vultures just waiting for someone to post about change.

Hitech is set in his ways to just like the community so it goes hand in hand around here.

just go look around the forums at any post about change and you will see what im talking about.

all I keep hearing is we got the best flight sim...well you only got the best flight sim when its being played and right now its not being played.

That’s a good question.

why do you continue to sit here and criticize players for saying why they are no longer happy with a change that has or has not been made?

I am sure hitech would like to know why people leave and why they are unhappy if a large amount is over one issue that tells him a lot but see people like you are the reason no one wants to say why and most leave with out saying anything. while people leaving without saying anything means nothing to you it could mean a lot to Hitech.

"The best flight sim" refers to the quality of the program, not the number of people playing.  "The best flight sim" means we believe this program is the best simulation of the flight characteristics of the airplanes involved when using a desktop computer.  If you want to argue that, then we need to start a different topic.

Like most of us on these forums.....I wish we had more players. I dont care!? Bombers, Fighters, Bombtankers, Furballers, heck I will settle with Spawn campers....We as a community really need to focus on ourselves individually...How can I make the game great. All this moaning about "The sky is falling" does NOONE any good. Its like when I worked in Food Service...!1bad review could set business back by double digit percentages, for months. Its all word of mouth stuff, especially noticeable with AH. Look at how some treated the Steam Release...pure all out Venom and Disgust from day 1. GV Dar...as Haggerty mentioned, it made very little difference. Only change..now you can go to a flashing base and know what you will be fighting...thats a bad thing? Icon range- Dar observation on map, like Vraciu has mentioned before, Great for the Furballer....thats a bad thing? Only thing that really changed fro AH2 to AH3..(besides the numeral),was the Total disgust with SOMETHING IS DIFFERENT. NOE is still the same altitudes...HQ hardness and its impact on game play..if I remember correct..that was changed in the months BEFORE AH3 went live?Bring it back to the way it was! It wont matter one bit, except now it would maybe be able to be sniffed out, before the grieving got to extreme measures?More BambTanker targets...thats a bad thing?      If I could change 1 thing it would be that C47s landed would be exempt from the ICON on Dar with-in 6 k of a passer by. Ok maybe even that there is a Bomber Icon and not just a DOT like before, maybe dot alone would be suffice?  All these and other things, were bemoaned and thrashed and railed against...with little to no fact checking, While at same time declared as TRUTHS.Hearing that over and over again lead to "must be true, that sucks I am out of here"! Even with the Sticky Tree complaints...I mean come on Man!!! How long does it take you to learn to drive a tank in AH3. I have NEVER been hung up in a tree. I dont tank as much since VR, but even my Grandson AGE 5 only gets stuck barely. SMH Negativity is very toxic and the game will not survive unless WE change that JMHO :uhoh
