Last kill of the war in Europe was an L-4 versus a Storch. I am a big fan, but we really do not need it considering we have the Storch. Plus, this encourages the ground game even more, in my opinion. That, of course, I cannot condone.

May not be the best plane ever requested here but your thumb down on this is kinda ironic given your history of random suggestions just to suggest something.

It would be a nice addition but it wouldn't be equipped with rockets like the Storch was for marking targets.  The rocket armed Grasshoppers used 3.5 bazooka rockets and launchers slung under the wings and was a field mod.  It was also very, very rare and only a handful of Grasshopper pilots modded their L-4s with the bazooka rockets, the most famous being Charles "Bazooka Charlie" Carpenter (also referred to as the Mad Major).  Since the Grasshoppers were attached to artillery units, artillery commanders didn't want their spotter planes to go play tank killers.  Carpenter was the exception because he was the personal pilot for the artillery division commander he was attached too and rarely flew artillery spotter missions, which allowed him to go play tank killer when he wasn't flying the division commander around.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of something more to kill with the .45 Colt, but thanks for keeping an open mind.

I see. I would have titled it something different then. Something like "Ability to fire pistol from Storch." A title like "L-4 Grasshopper" in a Wishlist thread makes it seem like you want the L-4 Grasshopper added to the game. My mistake.

If I wanted the Storch to have a gun it would have an MG 15. Oh, wait! It already has a gun. How about I make a legitimate request for an enemy aircraft of the Storch against which it can fight?

Oh, but wait! It gets better! The L-4 also has a great vertical line and stall turn from which it can make Bazooka attacks! Didn't see that one coming did you?
