They look too scared to take on the XII Tactical Air Force over Anzio.

All of those excellent FW 190A-5's, Bf 109G-6's, and FW 190F-8's -- just waiting for Luftwaffe pilots to sign up.

The Luftwaffe has the excellent pilot and strategist Perdweeb as CO.  They have the experten and legendary pilots Save, Chuikov, Towelie (aka Floob), and Jeffn already signed up.

What are you waiting for?

FW 190's of SG 4 got in a bunch of combats against P-47's in the March-May time frame.

However, your camouflage is very good, so nearly as good as invisible!

I have to concede that this is quite a valid point.

However, as CO of the allied side, I have decreed that there shall be no pink Spitfires in the 31st FG -- only manly colors that fit with the gravity of the situation at Anzio.  (Whether the pilots listen to me is another matter.)

I remember many years ago and this was back in AH1 AHGod flying his G-10 always and never was afraid to come down and tango with any La7 pilot. He also was a good wing to go into that furball that was always there in the center of Trinity or Pizza!

Dam those where some fun nights!! But the sobriety wore off and college began also!
