Roomba i7+
« on: September 08, 2019, 07:39:15 PM »
Just a heads up. Normally you see special deals $949.00 for this setup. Right now Walmart has it $769.00. I have never seen it so cheap. Free shipping too. I actually went to Bestbuy and had them price match it. They had them in stock.

Works well in a smart home too.

For the price I can hire a cleaner to do the job monthly.

Maybe for a short while.

This unit went through two cycles learning yesterday and did a good job. Two or three more cycles then it imprints. At that time it improves efficiency and I can setup room names. Then it can be voice.controlled and scheduled for specific areas and rooms.

I have one of the knock off Eufy ones I picked up for $200. It is nice to let run around while I'm just doing general cleaning. They do pick up a surprising amount of stuff and can get into places you wouldn't think of.

Dyson has a robot too but it does not do a very good job because of it's system for travel. It has good suction though.

All my floors are textured porcelain and the i7 did an excellent job cleaning them.

My wife only uses the i series in our sun room while she vacuums
the rest of the house... seems to work pretty well and returns itself
after its done... if she is happy… then so am I

Too late... it was either a one day event or marked wrong as the price was back at the special price of $999.00 Monday morning.

I got mine for $339.00 off while it lasted.

I assumed it was because the new s9 is out at the very low price of $1400...

That one has more suction to clean carpet better and a little wider swath and shape. Other than that, it is the same.

I know of a family that had a roomba pick up some fresh dog s**t while they were out. . It did a great job smearing it around the house.

"... and in the strange but true section of our news tonight, a southern Illinois resident was recently rushed to emergency with a vacuum shoved up his butt. Details are sketchy but locals tell us it was a domestic incident regarding a newly purchased Dyson vacuum that showed up which shortly resulted in loud screaming from the residence. The victim, which locals told us he goes by the nickname "Meadwad", purchased the vacuum so his wife wouldn't be bored. More at 11."
