Guppy35 requested I update Kev367th's 308th FS Spitfire Mk VIII skin for an upcoming scenario.

"Fargo Express" was the Spitfire Mk VIII flown by Captain Leland Molland of the USAAF's 308th Fighter Squadron while based at Castel Volturno in Italy during January 1944. Captain Molland scored five kills flying Spitfires and later six more while flying P51s. He remained in the Air Force post-war but lost his life flying a T-33 jet on a recon mission in 1951.

I think you mean 57th FG/64th FS. The problem with P-47D-11s is that all 32 skin slots for this ride are already full and HTC won't delete any of these existing skins to make room for new ones. So to get a new P-47D-11 skin for your scenario my skin files would have to be added to whichever terrain is being used for it. In which case then for that terrain my new skin would become the default D-11. So see if the scenario organisers can get my skin added to the terrain. If so then I will make one, assuming that is I can find a usable photo of a 64th FS razorback.

Greebo, I talked to Brooke and he is ok with it. And the skin would be for the 65th instead of the 64th for Anzio.

OK LNG15, I have found some good photos of some 65th FS razorbacks and will skin one of these soon. Can someone please PM me the email address to send the skin to when its done?

Bustr I will be updating more of those old skins that lack the AH3 lighting maps from time to time including Spit Mk VIII skins, of which there are six. Which aircraft I skin depends on player requests, on how interesting a scheme it is, on whether it is useful for scenarios and on whether there are any good RL photos of it. Unfortunately some old skins seem to be based entirely off dubious info like profiles and plastic kits rather than genuine WW2 photos and that really puts me off doing it.
