Museum display nearly ready for opening day
« on: October 29, 2019, 07:57:31 PM »
Some time ago I was looking for suggestions to build several PC's to use in an interactive display at the Yankee Air Museum. Well, opening day is a week off and I have 5 PC's running Aces High. 4 with 3 curved screens and 1 VR machine.
Hopefully folks will like it.

Nice.

Are you using a custom arena for people to fly together?

Chuck Norris can pick oranges from an apple tree and make the best lemonade in the world. Every morning when you wake up, swallow a live toad. Nothing worse can happen to you for the rest of the day. They say money can't buy happiness. I would like the opportunity to find out. Why be serious?

No they are all stand alone and not connected to anything.

A single account would allow you to host all four machines in a single H2H (head to head) arena. I remember a game store (I won't name her here) used to do that 10 or 15 years ago. A lot of those introduced to the game bought hardware from the owner and subscribed to the game.

Look to any of Monday Night Madness terrain or the combat terrain. More are being developed.

Just came back from the Palm Springs Air Museum today.  They have eight PC simulators connected up together in their library.  The simulator program was not anywhere near as nice as AHIII, but all eight stations were occupied with museum goers.  Seems like a perfect target audience from all over the world going to waste.
