Worst player in the game

Two nights ago while I was still on the Knight side.  A new player was asking for help.  A player on our team insisted on giving him a hard time.  The topper was when he told him to use ALt f4.  We pointed out to him that there was a total of 74 players at the time and we needed any one who was in it interested in the game.  Ultimately the guy signed off with the experience that AH3 players were a bunch of A-holes. 
We need to do what we can to help new players! :old:

I whole heartily agree with you 1Cane, we all need to do what we can to help the new players and newer members of the AH Community out in any way we can!

I too, hope you .report "gameid" that player's text and possibly screenshot the "expanded text buffer" or was filming.. So that you could email the screenshot or film in to HTC, to let HTC know and be aware of who this player is that was "griesquealing another player (especially a new player to AH3)

It sounds like your side tried to call-out the player on their BS, 1Cane.. Maybe if more players would have noticed what was happening/going on, they could have spoke up and make the griefer to realize the error of his actions...if he was to understand that being rude and acting out towards a new AH3 player most likely cost HTC more than the one player.....it could very well cost HTC multiple new players and new AH3 Community Members......

Thanks for not stating who it was on the bbs. But by all means please report the next time it happens. Reports also generate logs for me to look at.

I remember falling for that Alt-f4 trick back in the early days of Warbirds. I wasn't that annoyed about it and promptly restarted the game with myself to blame.

We need every new guy we can get, simply put.  Although I personally think it's a bit overblown that one dolt will destroy a person's desire to play the game.  If having to restart the game kills their desire to play it, will they need to be put on suicide watch the first time they get picked?

If you get 100 randomly selected people in one place at one time, odds are at least one of them will be an unlikable bastard.  Welcome to the internet.
