Have you done time calculations of the drive? Also what happens if some one tips over?

The terrain is very easy. At a 25 mile distance from one sector line to the next at roughly 60mph ends up at approximately at 25 minutes. The first leg is around 15-20 minutes. The second leg is 10-15 minutes. The third leg around 20 minutes and last part from airfield to town just under 5 minutes. I generally keep them around an hour with extra time allocated to below mentioned issues.
The only thing that gets in the way is trees.
Added time occurs when players go the wrong way or think they know a better way and ends up not being the case.
Players who take the time to run the route will be a better advantage then the ones who show up at the door.
Each jeep has two vehicle supplies to right then after crashing upside down. They need to turn their engine off due to the vibrations keeping them in motion. Other players can drop off their supplies also. I included the C-47 for air dropped vehicle supplies.
The majority of players have experience in these jeep race events. On local range and vox 150 plus my CM text, I keep appraised of player's issues and get them resolved quickly. If I am not close by, one of the players will get to the stuck player.
