TM HOTAS Couger... Need parts
« on: November 04, 2019, 02:40:24 PM »
Anyone have an old Thrustmaster Cougar base kicking around they don't want/need?  I broke my pitch gimbal, not fixable and I really don't want to lay out the $$$ for a Warthog rn, or go the 3D print mod route.  Would be willing to take the throttle as well, as my micro-stick has stopped working (ever since upgrade to Win 10, worked fine with Foxy/Win 7).

I have custom aluminum, sealed bearing, coil spring gimbals with Hall effect sensors and optional stick extensions for the Cougar base. It's mounted in a base now, just needs a circuit board.

PM me an offer.

Hi FLS, thanks for the offer, I actually managed to get both gimbals replaced, TM had them in stock (cost me about $25 CDN)
Was interesting actually replacing them, but the stick seems to work.
If only those gimbals had arrived before I went out and bought my Warthog... <eg>
