Hall of Fame - 2,000+ Kills in a Tour
« on: November 30, 2019, 12:42:35 PM »
I was reading through the forums and came across an old thread. Several people have made 1k kills per tour, but 2k is something few have ever done.  I think I got 1,000 once, but 2,000?  No way.

Here's the few that I know of that managed this impressive feat...

Grizz
Skyyr
Krupnski
Rusyn (Who broke the scoring system.)

Anyone else?

If you've got the time it's not that hard.

Then why have so few done it?

Because for the most part it's taking far more time than most have been willing/able to spend on a video game.

It was much easier to do in their day. Having 120 people in a furball sure makes landing double digits easier.

Went back and looked at my scores in 2008, my peak of no life being single. 800+, the amount of time to put in is crazy. But the biggest is the amount of players, the amount of targets back then was insane. Landing 9 kills a sortie was possible for clowns like me.

I wonder if it's possible to find your all-time score without having to calculate each individual Tour.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Rusyn did it last year when he broke the scoring page.

Give me the tours you flew and I'll run the numbers for you. It only takes a few minutes with Spatulas program

Woof, that's going to take some thinking...

Under Saxman I flew regularly from Tour 70, through Tour 129. After that I only got on sporadically before finally suspending my account. I came back for a bit under Saxman2, but only briefly (I can't remember exactly when that was).
