You understand an exponential rate of increase?
It's 8th grade math. And it's been explained multiple times.
Anyone not getting it now, has an emotional
need to not get it.
You can tell by the way they get hostile if you lay it out too clearly. You're threatening their conceptual safe-space.
I'm generally fine with that, except the kind of people who refuse to take this threat seriously, are the kinds of people who won't take the protocols seriously. Why would they? It's all a big media driven hoax. Why should they be inconvenienced over a hoax?
Like the exposed guy under quarantine the other week that broke quarantine to take his DAUGHTER to a PUBLIC father/daughter school dance. Now it may not have turned out he was infected in the end, but that kind of selfish recklessness is just mind-boggling. But, he probably thought all this was just BS. Another person had broken quarantine to attend some kind of political rally. WTF?
This isn't like riding your motorcycle without a helmet. Failure to deal with reality with infectious diseases, doesn't just put yourself at risk, you put others at risk without their consent, and that is immoral. Toxic individualism is going to get other people killed.
