Brooke, I suspect you have set the buff-tough value low in scenarios, I even bagged a B-26 in a Macci 202 in the North-Africa scenarios a while ago   :aok

In melee arena the B-26 looks as if it borrowed a good bunch of front plates of some Panther tanks.

My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

I nuked a b26 formation by myself with like 40 rounds of 30mm in a 109k4 last night. I've never found them to be super tough. More like 17s and lancs

Only for my own personal bomber.

Just kidding.  There is no setting for toughness of bombers.

There is a setting for lethality of rounds, but that affects all planes, and it isnt changed for scenarios.

For those of you interested about the P47 I have several books on the P47.  It is my favorite piston driven fighter/fighter bomber.  These are great sources to read.

Gabby:
A fighter Pilots Life by Gabby himself as told to Carl Molesworth.

Wolfpack Warriors
by Roger A Freeman noted WWII aviation author from Great Britain.

Zemkes Wolfpack:
By again Roger A Freeman as told by Zemke.

Kearby's Thunderbolts, the 348th FG in WWII.
By John C. Stanaway

My two best P47 books are:

Thunderbolt!
By Robert S Johnson with Martin Caidin
I have a first edition of this book that was given to and signed thusly by Johnson "To Paul Briand with best wishes from Robert S. Johnson."  Somewhat hard to find even without Johnsons signature.
First editions are pricey and very hard to find.

Again the most definitive book on the P47 ever written from development, model introductions etc.
Repbulic's P-47 Thunderbolt from Seversky to Victory by Warren M. Bodie.  Everything you wish to know about the P47.  And I mean everything.
This is somewhat of a coffee table sized book.  You wish to know something it is there.  I have a hard cover edition.  Again also hard to find and can be pricey like Johnson's book.

And as Brooke posted I also have to win the winter sky.  Very very good book!

Awesome!  I didn't know Bodie did a P-47 book.  I'm ordering it right now!  (I loved his awesome P-38 book.)

Thanks, Hajo!  :aok

(PS:  I notice it is from Widewing Publications.  I have a feeling Widewing here has a bit to do with it.  :aok)

Been practicing attack runs in the MA (keeping my eyes peeled for Yaks). Sporting the unit skin (with invasion stripes, it seems). Managed to take out a shore battery single-handed (though I had to drop my 2 1Ks then my 500 then shoot my rockets all on separate approaches). Striking towns are easy (of course) because buildings are closely packed. Did some ship damage (are destroyers now harder to sink?).
